Last year’s color of the year was Oxblood and it still seems to be a favorite for this year as well. It’s a rich, deep, red color that really represents the season of Fall.
I saw Mimi G with this skirt earlier this year and this was one of the things I decided to teach myself how to make. When I tell you that it is EXTREMELY easy….I MEAN IT!!! There is no pattern needed. All you need to know is your waist measurement and the measurement from the floor to your waist. That’s it! Mimi G sells the instructions to this skirt if you can’t seem to figure out how to make it. She also sells these skirts for a steep price if you don’t really care to sew your own skirt.
