Oh Sew Chic!

Tulle Skirts have been on trend lately, so a sew along over on Pretty Girls Sew came in great timing.
pink1I made a total of 3 tulle skirts.  This one in particular has a more solid, poofy look instead of the more fluffy and voluminous skirt which I’ll post in a future blog post.  The reviews of the Simplicity tulle skirt pattern were terrible.  When I looked over the pattern myself, I could believe how confusing and the amount of unneccesary steps it would take to make a tulle skirt using that particular pattern.  So I wanted to experiment and make a few of my own.  So like I said, this is just one version that I made.  I paired it with a t-shirt that my brother, Joshua and I collaborated on.  This shirt will be available in the future over on Pretty Girls Sew.  So I provided a tutorial at the end of this post if you wanted to make this particular skirt.
