DIY Face & Body Scrub

It is the middle of Summer and although I love the whole bronze look, I do not like the sun. The sun and me are not friends! LOL! Anyhow, I decided to try an at home remedy that will help me get that a perfect Summer glow and at the same time moisturize my dry skin. The scrub that I made…..Uggghhhhh…..it is to die for.  It absolutely feels and smells like you are in a spa.  Save your money ladies and gentlemen and make you some scrub!

Each ingredient that I added to the mix has it’s own unique benefits to the skin.  I absolutely LOVE the fact that all of the ingredients that I used was all natural, they were organic, it was made by me, and best of al, it’s FRESH!  Yesssss!!!!  So below I listed the ingredients that I used and a few of their benefits.

Honey–  Honey is an ancient treatment for wounds because it has antiseptic properties and creates a breathable, skin-like barrier. It is often used in recipes for acne treatment, reducing eye puffiness, exfoliating scrubs and eczema.
Raw Sugar– Naturally exfoliates skin, revealing glowing, healthy skin
Lemon– Naturally gets rid of dark spots and pigmentation, heals acne, removes blackheads…
Olive Oil- Used as an effective hydrator. It’s really good for treating irritated skin because it is very gentle to use on it’s own.

Hope you have fun making this DIY Face & Body Scrub. If you end up making it, comment below and let myself and all of the readers know how you like it.  We all love to hear testimonials and you never know, you could help someone!  Can’t wait to hear from you.  XOXO

TIPS:
– This scrub is perfect for both dry and oily skin and the Olive oil will not clog your pores.
– If you are going out in the sun after applying this scrub, be sure to apply sunscreen because the lemon makes your skin extra sensitive to the sun.
– Wanna save some money? This scrub would make the perfect gift or party favors for all of your lady friends.  Who doesn’t like to feel pampered?
